She is flexible and willing to help anywhere she is needed; she is kind and caring and loves every child she has in her care. She provides a warm and welcoming and educational environment that fosters growth and development in her room! Ms. Steph has worked in childcare for eight years, seven of which have been here at Bright Start. Ms. Steph says she would not choose any other career path, as her heart lies in Childcare! Learning
At Bright Start Learning Center, the child comes first. We take pride in not only providing for their physical and emotional needs, but for their developmental needs as well. Our curriculum was created for its balance between both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning. It is our goal to help the children develop the passion for learning that they will carry with them throughout their life. Bright Start Learning Center uses a weekly theme based curriculum that is designed to foster social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development and to enhance learning in literacy, math, science, social studies, and the arts. This allows the teachers to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, content-rich program for children of all backgrounds and skill levels that is constantly matching the interests of the students. Please be sure to look for the weekly lesson plans hanging in the classrooms.
